Peaster get on Domestic Road 920 nine miles northwest of Weatherford within northwestern Parker County. Cash settlement began in the 1870s whilst Georgia native H. H. Peaster bought 160 estate of l& and built the home. A community that developed touching a places of his at home was originally known as Freemont; within 1885 a title was changed to Peasterville.
